What makes Copenhagen so livable? This was the question that directed our 3-day tour focus for students and faculty visiting from Kunstuniversität Linz. Copenhagen has invested in sustainable mobility, including a new network of paths, bridges, and urban spaces. These additions have not only made the city’s urban fabric more accessible, but they all play a major role in reaching Copenhagen’s goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2025.These three tour days highlighted cases on how Copenhagen has integrated new models for urban mobility, public space design, water and climate adaptation, and intelligent adaptive reuse.
